TERMS OF SERVICE

Acceptance of These Terms
By using this website or requesting service from The NYC Roadside Assistance, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
The Services We Provide
We provide mobile roadside assistance — we come to your vehicle to help with common roadside situations, including jump starts, flat tire changes, emergency fuel delivery, car lockouts, on-site battery replacement, and truck door lockouts and truck battery jump starts.
We are a roadside assistance provider, not a highway recovery service. For safety and licensing reasons, we do not perform service on active expressways, parkways, or bridges. If your vehicle is stopped in a live traffic lane, on a highway shoulder, or in any unsafe position, call 911 or the appropriate authority first — your safety comes before any roadside repair.
Pricing and Payment
We provide a clear, flat price by phone before we dispatch a technician, based on the information you give us. There is no membership or sign-up fee. If conditions at your vehicle turn out to be materially different from what was described, we will tell you before doing additional work and confirm any change in price first. Payment is due upon completion of the service, by the payment methods we accept at the vehicle.
No Guaranteed Arrival Time
Any arrival or completion time we mention is a good-faith estimate, not a guarantee. Actual timing depends on traffic, weather, your location, and current demand, and is outside our full control. We will keep you updated, but we cannot promise an exact arrival time.
Your Responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your location, your vehicle, and the problem.
- Confirm that you are the owner of the vehicle or are authorized to request service for it.
- Be reachable, and make sure our technician can safely access the vehicle.
Right to Decline Service
We may decline or stop service in situations that are unsafe, unlawful, or beyond what we can responsibly handle. In a genuine emergency — an accident, injury, fire, or a vehicle in a dangerous position — please contact 911 first.
Limitation of Liability
Our technicians perform every job with reasonable care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The NYC Roadside Assistance is not liable for pre-existing vehicle conditions, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or our services. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Website Content
This website and its content are provided on an “as is” basis. The text, design, and graphics on this site belong to The NYC Roadside Assistance and may not be copied or reused without permission. We may link to outside websites that we do not control and are not responsible for.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute relating to them or to our services will be handled in the appropriate courts located in New York.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
